Marie is a registered Medicare Psychology provider under the Better Access Initiative. To claim a rebate, you’ll need a referral from your GP and a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP).
This plan provides access to up to 10 psychology sessions per calendar year. A brief report on assessment and treatment will be provided to your referring GP after the sixth and tenth sessions, as required by Medicare.
Note: In January 2023, the Federal Government reduced the annual Medicare rebate sessions to 10.
Private Health
Marie is also a registered provider with most major health funds. You do not need a GP referral to claim via private health insurance.
Please note you cannot claim a Medicare rebate and private health cover for the same session.

Standard consultation: 50 minutes
After-hours sessions (from 5 pm) available
Medicare rebate: $145.25 per eligible session
Payment via EFTPOS, HICAPS or auto billing
American Express, Diners and cash not accepted

To respect appointment timeframes, please observe the cancellation policy:
0-24 hours' notice: Full fee applies
24-48 hours' notice: 50% of fee applies
